About the role
Hospo Dojo helps cafés, restaurants and venues across Australia grow their profit. We're looking for a Data Analyst who uses AI every day to turn our clients' numbers — sales, food cost, labour, menu mix and marketing leads — into clear decisions.
What you'll do
- Collect, clean and combine client data from POS, accounting, rostering and CRM exports
- Build repeatable analyses and dashboards: margins, food cost, labour %, menu engineering
- Use AI tools (LLMs, Python/SQL copilots, automations) to speed up analysis and reporting
- Turn findings into plain-English recommendations for venue owners and our consultants
- Help build our internal data pipeline and reporting templates
What we're looking for
- 2+ years in data analysis with Python or SQL, plus strong spreadsheet skills
- Hands-on experience using AI / LLM tools in real analysis workflows
- You can explain numbers to non-technical business owners
- Care and attention to detail with client data and privacy
- Bonus: hospitality, retail or small-business finance experience
